The Human Design Business® is operated by Green Jelly Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 08258774, VAT No. GB155399771).
Website: thehdbiz.com
Contact: me@sharithompson.co.uk
Green Jelly Marketing Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, email address, and any other details you provide via forms (e.g. free HD Business Report, Birth Time Decoder, newsletter sign-up, contact forms, checkout).
- Birth data — date, time, and place of birth, submitted when you generate a Human Design chart or HD Business Report. This is used solely to calculate your chart and generate your personalised report. We treat this as sensitive information and handle it with additional care (see Section 6).
- Account data — if you purchase or register for the HD Business OS, we collect the information needed to create and manage your account, including your chart data, generated content, and usage of the platform.
- Payment data — if you make a purchase, payment is processed by FastPayDirect (Stripe-backed). We do not store your full card details ourselves; these are handled directly by our payment processor.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referral source, collected automatically via Google Tag Manager and Meta (Facebook) Pixel for analytics and advertising purposes.
- Communications — if you email us, message us on social media, or submit a form, we keep a record of that correspondence.
- Affiliate tracking data — if you arrive via a Founding Partner or affiliate link, a tracking cookie (via GoHighLevel, lasting up to 60 days) records which affiliate referred you, so commissions can be correctly attributed.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Generate your Human Design chart and personalised HD Business Report
- Deliver, operate, and personalise the HD Business OS and its features
- Process payments and manage your purchase or subscription
- Send you the content, emails, or resources you've requested (e.g. your free report, nurture sequences, newsletters)
- Respond to enquiries and provide customer support
- Run and improve our marketing, including tailored advertising on platforms like Meta/Facebook
- Attribute affiliate referrals correctly and pay commissions
- Meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal data.
4. The legal basis we rely on
Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following bases:
- Consent — for marketing emails and non-essential cookies/tracking, which you can withdraw at any time
- Contract — to deliver a product or service you've purchased (e.g. the HD Business OS)
- Legitimate interests — for basic analytics, fraud prevention, and running our affiliate programme
- Legal obligation — for accounting, tax, and record-keeping requirements
5. Who we share your data with
We share data with the third-party services that help us run the business. These include:
- ActiveCampaign — email marketing and automation
- Resend — transactional emails
- FastPayDirect / Stripe — payment processing
- GoHighLevel — affiliate tracking and management
- Supabase — secure backend hosting for the HD Business OS
- Anthropic (Claude API) — used within the HD Business OS to generate personalised content and strategy based on your chart data. Your data is sent to Anthropic solely to generate your requested output and is not used by Anthropic to train their models under our commercial terms with them.
- Google (Tag Manager/Analytics) and Meta (Facebook Pixel) — website analytics and advertising
- WordPress/Elementor hosting providers — for running thehdbiz.com
We only share what each provider needs to perform their function, and we have agreements in place with our providers to protect your data.
6. Sensitive data: your birth details
Your date, time, and place of birth are used exclusively to calculate your Human Design chart via our chart calculation provider (Bodygraph Chart API) and to generate your personalised report or strategy. This data:
- Is stored securely and is never sold or shared for advertising purposes
- Is retained for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the free report/demo experience
- Can be deleted at any time on request (see Section 9)
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential site functionality
- Analytics (Google Tag Manager)
- Advertising (Meta/Facebook Pixel)
- Affiliate attribution (GoHighLevel, up to 60 days)
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
8. International data transfers
Some of our service providers (including Anthropic and Supabase) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data remains protected to UK standards.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from emails)
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled
To exercise any of these rights, contact me@sharithompson.co.uk.
10. Data retention
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law (e.g. financial records are typically kept for 6 years for tax purposes). Demo/trial data (e.g. the OS demo experience) is automatically deleted after 24 hours or 10 generations, whichever comes first.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
