Your Authority

A lot of the overwhelm, procrastination and confusion arises in business because most of us don’t really know HOW to make decisions. We are so conditioned to be in our head and to follow “should’s”, logic and societal norms, that we make everything harder than it needs to be. 

In Human Design, you have a clear way to make aligned decisions; this is called your authority. You will find this highlighted on your Human Design chart (get it here if you don’t have it). This is your place of power … embrace it! 

A lot of this comes from your body so find out what your authority means below and experiment with using it. Be compassionate with yourself if it doesn’t instantly land … you have spent your whole life listening to your head and conditioning! 

Your authority is the decision making process you are designed to be connected with. Here is a brief overview of each authority:

• Emotional (Solar Plexus) > Follow what feels good and wait 24 hours to make decisions
• Sacral > this is either a Hell yes that you feel in your body, or it’s a no! Follow the electricity in your body!
• Spleen > Real time instinct – this is the soft voice that tells you to do something in that moment. Listen … it doesn’t repeat itself. Also feels like an inner knowing! 
• Ego > follow what your heart desires and what you commit to energetically through your will power that FEELS empowered for you

• G-Centre > your sense of direction guides your decisions. This is not based on logic so sounding it out by talking it through with people can support the process

• Mental Authority > you get to discern what is right for you by speaking  it out in real time and discerning from your voice. Your environment also plays a key role in decisions. 

• Lunar / No authority > This is the authority for all reflectors. Wait a whole lunar cycle to observe and feel into what the decision is. The clarity comes from this process and being in the right environment.
